Goodnewspaper: The Art Edition

Introducing the new (first-ever) Goodnewspaper: The Art Edition! When it comes to making a difference in the world, the activists, nonprofit leaders, and everyday world-changers we see are also some of the most creative people in the world. They see a problem or injustice, and think of unique, new, creative ways to be part of the solution.

This issue is filled with celebrations of artists using their talents, skills, and creativity to make the world a better place. And whether you identify as an “artist” or not, we hope their stories leave you inspired to creatively make a difference in the world.

In his book “Linchpin,” Seth Godin says that art is anything that’s created outside the rule book. So whether you work with sculptures or spreadsheets, oil paints or business plans — use it to create change, because while the medium doesn’t matter, your heart for doing good does.
